Indigo Expat WeCare: your international medical coverage

Working or living overseas? Indigo Expat WeCare is an international medical coverage for expatriates. It covers in and out-patient, vision and dental. Also assistance and personal liability are included. Maternity benefits are optional. Finally, if your stay abroad is less than 12 months, have a look on Start Expat plan.

Indigo Expat WeCare – eligibility

Briefly, eligible expatriates are:

european citizens living and/or residing abroad,
non-european citizens residing in a Member State of the European Union.

The expatriate must live abroad at least 6 months. Regarding the age, principle expatriates can be aged between 18 and 70 years old.

Indigo Expat WeCare – zones of cover

You can select your zone of cover between 4 zones of cover. Therefore, you can freely decide where you want to be covered. Indigo Expat WeCare proposes the following zones of cover (zones 1, 2, 3 and 4):

4 : China, Hong Kong, Taiwan + countries of Zones 3, 2, 1,
3 : Barbados, Brazil, Faroe (islands), Polynesia, Saint Barthelemy, St Martin, Saint Pierre et Miquelon, Singapore, Wallis and Futuna + countries of Zones 2, 1,
2 : Albania, Angola, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Gibraltar, Georgia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mozambique, New-Zealand, Nigeria, Oman, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Seychelles, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Vatican + countries of Zone 1,
1 : Worldwide excluding countries listed in Zones 2 to 4.

Outside your zone of cover, members are covered during 7 weeks in case of accident or unforseen illness. Details are mentioned in the Notice of Information (medical).

The following countries of expatriation are excluded: Bahamas, Belarus, Lebanon, Morocco, Russia, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Venezuela.
